George Joffé

Biography

Research fellow at the University of Cambridge in England, specializing in the international relations of the Middle East and North Africa within the Department of Politics and International Studies. Previously he was deputy director of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). He is also attached to St. Anthony’s College at the University of Oxford and Kings College at the University of London. He holds a professorial fellowship at London Metropolitan University and at the Royal United Services Institute in London.Professor Joffe is a renowned international expert on the Middle East and North Africa, who is published widely and a regular commentator in print, radio and television on developments in the Arab world.
