Alexandra George

Biography

Author, translator, journalist and spokesperson for international organizations. She has published two books on Russia, including “Escape from Ward Six. Russia Facing Past and Present” (UPA, Md., 1998). For over 12 years, Alexandra George has worked in Russia/the Caucasus, Central Asia and Ukraine, and she spent seven years in Eastern Europe and the Balkans with the European Union, OSCE and United Nations. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and a Certificate of the Russian Institute from Columbia University.
