Alexander Sergunin

Biography

Professor in the Department of International Relations, School of International Relations, St. Petersburg State University. He received a Ph.D. in history from Moscow State University in 1985. Prof. Sergunin is the author of numerous publications on regionalism, foreign and security policy and EU-Russia relations. He is currently working on a research project entitled “EU and Russia: Two Competing ‘Soft Power’ Projects in the Baltic Sea Region.”
