Joseph Dobbs

Biography

Joseph Dobbs is a Research Fellow at the European Leadership Network (UK). Joseph's current research focuses on EU-Russia relations, and emerging security issues, such as Russia-China relations, the Eurasian Economic Union and long term trends. He also works on the ELN's Strategic Insight breakfast series with Salamanca Group and the UK-France Leadership Group on Euro-Atlantic Security and Nuclear Issues. Before joining the ELN in June 2014, Dobbs completed his postgraduate degree at the University of Oxford, focusing on Chinese politics and foreign policy. Prior to this, he studied at the Universities of Hong Kong and Liverpool, achieving a first class BA in Modern History and Politics at the latter, and worked at the European External Action Service and in domestic politics in the UK.
