Biography

Director of the Center for Democracy and International Affairs at Virginia International University. Prior to working at VIU, she ran a strategic marketing and translation firm focused on Eurasia. Katherine holds a Master of Arts degree in Russian, Eurasian and East European Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service, both from Georgetown University. She is fluent in Russian, Belarusian, French and Italian.
