Aleksander Konovalov is an advisory board member for the SAWest consulting company. His fields of expertise include political and economic risk assessment and investigative due diligence. The geographical scope of his reports varies from Ghana in West Africa to Afghanistan in Central Asia. A graduate of St. Petersburg State University, Konovalov has contributed to a number of Russian and foreign media, including TASS, Kommersant and Izvestia.
